FISHING IS LIFE.

Well hi there! My name is Dave Wright and my passion is fishing. Originally from Ontario I grew up fishing the local rivers, streams and lakes at a age of 7. I fell in love with fishing and that never left me.

I moved to British Columbia in the eighties and worked at Expo ‘86 as a chef, then moved up to Whistler and began fishing there. After being introduced to the 5 Pacific Salmon Species as well as other salt and fresh water species, I was hooked on BC fishing. I moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2001 and bought my first boat and have been fishing the waters here ever since. I have fished a season in Hakai Pass, done many trips on the West Coast of Vancouver Island and in Mexico, and also guided in Tofino for a season. I have logged thousands of hours sport fishing.

I decided I wanted to follow my dreams, and after 40+ years in the food & beverage industry, I left to become a fishing guide . I’d love to take you out on your fishing adventure and show you how to enjoy some of the best fishing on the West Coast.
